Plus the 221 may have chopper lump barrels. Look for a longitudinal very fine line running down the center of the barrel lumps. I have five guns with chopper lunp barrels and all shoot to POA very well. 221 is a mod 30, just likely a number that an importer gave it. over the hill and picking up speed.

The Bill Hanus " gun" had nice wood. Pretty nice on the Parker Quail, not so much on the SLNE, Model 30, or my grouse gun (ST model 30). I have owned about 13-14 different Spanish brands, from the top of the food chain to the bottom. As I stated before, the Ugartechea's offer a lot of gun for the money IMO.
